GET THE PART BY LOOKING THE PART
Whether you’re going for an audition, an open casting or an important job interview it’s vital to look your best. By working in conjunction with Genco Male Grooming, a professional photo shoot will create an arresting set of portraits that will help you catch the attention of both casting directors and interviewers alike and leave them with your best ‘lasting impression’.
A UNIQUE PACKAGE:
A Professional Casting Shoot follows three simple steps:
- Grooming and Styling with a Senior Stylists from Genco in their nearby salon.*
- Professional Make-up with our resident Film & TV Make-Up Artist Amrita Dhanjal.
- A pre-shoot consultation with Award-Winning Photographer Mark Esper on how to get the best out of your shoot.
UNDERSTANDING YOU BEST:
A picture can say a thousand words but in today’s fast paced world it’s quite often the first impression that counts. With many years of experience in photographing both documentary and fashion subjects Mark Esper has learnt how to get the right shot fast. By understanding what story or aspect of your personality you wish to convey he regularly helps people to look their best. For Mark, it all boils down to one thing: “In a word, it has to be authenticity. The clear sense that what I am looking at is real… you can’t connect with an image if there’s nothing genuine to hold on to.”
Some angles work better than others and its this experience that Mark brings with him to every shoot. By properly understanding what type of job or part you’re after we can help you look your best and capture your essence with integrity. In taking the time to properly understand your needs you should be looking the part well before your casting director/interviewer has even seen you.
That said, if you would like to bring in alternate clothing for 2 different looks (e.g. casual/business or “in” / “out” of character) please do so. Depending on the weather and your preference, we can also shoot both indoors or outdoors with professional lighting so as to help you get the right result.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOUR SHOOT:
Towards the end of your shoot we will review your casting portraits over a cup of tea (or coffee if you prefer). Looking through the shoot we will select six final images. These will then be edited & lightly retouched. The intention of a good retouch is to show the best version of you whilst not creating a distorted presentation. Ideally a great retouch* is one that doesn’t look retouched. From having spoken to many casting directors it is clear that finding that a good balance in both head shots and casting portraits is all essential to the impression you create.
After a final review, each of the final six retouched casting portraits (both in black & white and colour) will be sent to you by email for secure download.
DURATION:
- Grooming & Consultation: 1 hour
- Make Up & Shoot: 2 hours
COST:
£300.00 (Additional retouched images can be supplied at an additional cost of £15.00 each)
SHOOT DETAILS:
